Indian polity — Preamble, Fundamental Rights (Articles 12–35), Directive Principles, the significant amendments (42nd, 44th, 73rd, 74th, 101st) and the basic structure doctrine; Parliament, the judiciary, local governance, constitutional and statutory bodies, the Representation of the People Act and anti-defection, including the GNCTD and Delhi-specific arrangement.

History, art and culture — highlights from ancient to modern India and the national movement through the Gandhian era; architecture, performing arts and the schools of Indian philosophy.

Geography and environment — physical features, national parks and conservation projects.

Economy and international relations — the three sectors, MSP, CBDC and digital currency, Quad, G7 and SDG-4.

Current affairs and schemes — national and international developments of the last twelve months, with education-first schemes to the fore: PM SHRI, PM POSHAN, EMRS, KGBV and NSIGSE alongside the flagship general schemes.

Reasoning — seating arrangements and puzzles in rows and grids, ordering, ranking and height comparison; syllogisms and Venn diagrams; blood relations and direction sense; series (including missing and alpha-numeric), coding–decoding, operator substitution and analogy; data sufficiency and statement–inference sets.

Quantitative aptitude — data interpretation over two sets, typically one table and one bar, pie or line chart; number system, LCM–HCF and divisibility; percentages, ratio and proportion, averages and mixtures; school-context arithmetic on fee revisions, costing and revenue; time and work with pipes and cisterns; geometry and mensuration covering circles, triangles and angles; permutations, combinations and probability.

Learning and development theory — Piaget on cognitive development stages; Vygotsky on the zone of proximal development, scaffolding and social constructivism; behaviourism through Skinner, Pavlov and Thorndike; Kohlberg on moral development, Bruner on discovery learning and Gardner on multiple intelligences.

Curriculum and instruction — curriculum planning and its types; lesson planning, the 5E instructional model and Bloom’s taxonomy applied to classroom objectives.

Inclusive education — children with special needs, universal design for learning and the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act.

Digital education — ICT in the classroom and smart-classroom practice; the national platforms DIKSHA, SWAYAM, PM e-VIDYA, NISHTHA, NIOS and DESH-Stack; learning-management systems, digital citizenship, online safety and cybersecurity basics.
